Jail for crime cash defendant who claimed 'she didn't know why people were posting money through door'

Summary

Lorna Palmer, 35, was found with nearly €100,000 in cash at her Dublin home. Gardaí seized two envelopes of €700 and €2,000 and discovered the money in safes and a money box. Palmer admitted she did not know the amount or the owners and said she did not know why people were posting money through the door. She pleaded guilty to possession of the proceeds of criminal conduct on 21 April 2017.
