Summary

Kelly Noble, 36, pleaded guilty to two violent robberies on South Great George's Street, Dublin, on the night of 24 September 2017. She first robbed a woman's handbag and €20 from a friend after midnight, then, 30 minutes later, attacked a man, punching him and stealing his wallet, which forced the victim to be taken to St James's Hospital. Noble had previously served six years for manslaughter and had 20 other convictions. She appeared in court on a bench warrant for failing to attend a prior sentencing date. The judge, Melanie Greally, noted her avoidance of proceedings and ordered a probation report, a prison governor's report and statements from the services she uses before finalising the sentence on 30 July.
