Man hospitalised after attack inside Criminal Courts
Summary
In the public foyer of the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin, a man in his mid‑20s was attacked and suffered head injuries. Gardaí responded at lunchtime and transported him to Mater Hospital around 2:30 pm for treatment. No arrests have been made. The area was secured by police, and blood was found on the floor of the CCJ atrium. CCTV footage of the assault is believed to exist, and neither party is an accused in any case currently heard at the CCJ.
