Woman threatened to send 'compromising' photos of man to friends and family
Summary
Roxana Dufficy, aged 32, was sentenced to a fully suspended two‑and‑a‑half‑year term for harassment of a man over a five‑year period. She repeatedly sent threatening messages to the victim's family, friends and workplace, claiming he was not the father of his girlfriend's unborn child and threatening to release compromising photos of him. Dufficy also made constant phone calls to his work and sent letters to his mother's home. She was arrested in June 2018 and pleaded guilty to harassment at unknown locations between 1 October 2013 and 12 June 2018. The court imposed a suspended sentence on the condition of good behaviour and prohibited her from contacting the victim or his relatives. She has not contacted him since her arrest.
