Gangster 'Fat' Freddie Thompson to appeal murder conviction

In a Court of Appeal hearing on 9 October 2020, 39‑year‑old gangster "Fat" Freddie Thompson, who was jailed for life by the Special Criminal Court in August 2018 for the murder of David 'Daithí' Douglas, announced his intention to appeal.
