Convicted child abuser admits attacks on two more victims

Summary

In a Dublin Circuit Criminal Court hearing, a man in his 50s, already serving a prison term for repeated sexual abuse of a teenage boy from 2009 to 2015, pleaded guilty to five counts of sexual assault against two victims. He admitted forcibly kissing and grabbing the bottom of an underage girl in mid‑2014, and similarly assaulting a second victim by grabbing her bottom, placing a hand on her bottom and kissing her neck between July 2011 and July 2012. Judge Karen O'Connor remanded him in continuing custody until 29 June 2020.
