Summary
David Galloway, 54, of Crumlin, Dublin, faced seven charges of unlawfully applying trademarks of washing‑powder brands Persil, Ariel, Fairy, Daz and Bold to buckets, and fourteen charges of possession of buckets, labels and boxes bearing those trademarks. He pleaded not guilty in the Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. The alleged offences mainly took place at a premises in Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, on 7 June 2014. A legal issue caused Judge Karen O'Connor to discharge the jury, and the case was sent back for a new hearing.
