Summary
Dean Shelley, 29, was sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for careless driving causing the death of 13‑year‑old Lee Henry and failure to stop on the R139, Coolock, on 22 October 2016. The court found Shelley was driving about 80 km/h in a 60 km/h zone and could not see the boy running across the road due to hedging and road layout.
