Serial roads offender jailed over dangerous high speed pursuit

Summary

Lorcan Ross, 25, of Ballyfermot, was sentenced to four and a half years' imprisonment and a six‑year driving disqualification after pleading guilty to endangerment, dangerous driving and driving without a licence and insurance. The offence involved a 30‑minute high‑speed pursuit through Ballyfermot, during which Ross drove in the middle of the road, ran red lights, performed hand‑brake turns and turned corners without regard for other vehicles.
