Trial of man accused of murdering garda detective to begin next month

Summary

Aaron Brady, 27, of New Road, Crossmaglen, faces trial for the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe, who was killed while on duty at Lordship Credit Union, Bellurgan, Co Louth, on 25 January 2013. The Central Criminal Court scheduled his trial for 11 November 2019, after pre‑trial hearings delayed the start. Mr Justice Michael White informed Brady that the date is subject to further applications by prosecution or defence.
