Employer re-hired asst manager who stole €100k from company

Summary

Ionel Uveges, 31, pleaded guilty to 22 counts of stealing €97,900 from LJM Retail between December 2016 and August 2018. The court heard that the employer rehired him in a non‑cash role after he had been promoted to assistant manager in 2016 and had responsibility for cash management.
