Butcher admits handling slice of stolen profits

Garda Detective Ronan Coffey presented evidence that the account was frozen and that €2,566 remained, leaving €904 unaccounted for. Mahony, who has prior theft convictions, was homeless at the time of the offence. He has since begun working at another butcher's shop, handed €500 to the court, and said he will pay the remaining €404 by September.
