Murder trial hears of partially burnt phone in BBQ
Summary
During a search of Paul O'Beirne's home on 16 March 2016, Gardai discovered a partially burnt mobile phone inside a barbecue in the back garden. The find was reported by Sergeant Patrick Traynor to the Central Criminal Court. O'Beirne, aged 36, and Jeffrey Morrow, aged 37, are on trial for the murder of 25‑year‑old Vincent Ryan, who was killed on 29 February 2016 at McKee Road in Finglas. The case is proceeding before Justice Michael White with a jury of eight men and four women. Paul O'Beirne pleaded not guilty. Jeffrey Morrow pleaded not guilty.
