Jail for man who burst girlfriend's eardrum in beating
Summary
Aaron Nolan, 21, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison for assaulting his then‑girlfriend, 19, on 5 November 2017. The court heard that Nolan punched, kicked and dragged her over a green area and down a laneway, pulling clumps of hair and causing her to vomit all night. He also burst her eardrum and inflicted severe facial injuries, including a swollen face, blood‑matted hair, a burst nose and lip.
