Mary Lowry's computer used to search for "Bobby Ryan" day before body was found

Summary

In a Central Criminal Court hearing, it was revealed that Mary Lowry's computer was used to search for Bobby Ryan's name the day before his body was recovered from a tank on her land. The computer, handed to Garda Cyber Crime Bureau detective Paul Fitzpatrick in May 2015, showed a search for "trace Ireland Bobby Ryan" at 21:45 on 29 April 2013. Mr. Ryan's body was found the following day by the accused, Patrick Quirke, who is 50 and pleaded not guilty to the murder. Mr. Ryan had gone missing on 3 June 2011 after leaving Lowry's home, and his body was discovered 22 months later in an underground run‑off tank on the farm owned by Lowry and leased by Quirke. The prosecution alleged that Quirke killed Mr. Ryan to rekindle an affair with Lowry, who is 52.
