Summary

Gardai seized computers, documents, a Ford pick‑up and trailer from Patrick Quirke's property less than three weeks after DJ Bobby "Mr Moonlight" Ryan's body was found in an underground run‑off tank on a farm owned by Ms Lowry and leased by Quirke. Quirke, 50, of Breanshamore, Co. Tipperary, pleaded not guilty to Ryan's murder. He had asked the Garda to show the warrant, after which he told them the media were wrong about finding Ryan's clothes and wallet in the tank and asked how Ryan died, to which the Garda replied they could not tell him. The search, authorised by a warrant from Tipperary District Court, began at 9.30 am and ended at 4.45 pm, with items seized from both the house and surrounding land. The trial, heard by Justice Eileen Creedon with a jury of twelve, continues.
