Summary

In a Dublin Circuit Criminal Court hearing, 19‑year‑old Clayton Brennan pleaded guilty to assault causing harm after a "completely unprovoked attack" on Mexican national Jose Mondragon on Bachelors Walk on 27 April 2016. Brennan, who was 16 at the time, sat beside Mondragon on a boardwalk outside The Arlington Hotel, struck him in the temple, causing him to fall and hit his mouth on a tree pot.
