Finance worker who used forged documents to apply for loans avoids jail
Summary
Neil Dolan, a 26‑year‑old finance worker, was found guilty of forging documents and using them to apply for three loans between 30 June and 7 July 2017. He altered identity papers with Microsoft Paint and presented them to KBC and Permanent TSB under the alias "Neil Nolan." All applications were rejected after the banks detected the alterations, and Gardaí confirmed Dolan's involvement. He admitted 14 counts of forging documents and 14 counts of using forged documents in the loan applications.
