Man (70) goes on trial for murder of partner

A 70‑year‑old man, Desmond Duffy, has gone on trial at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of his partner, Des Sullivan, aged 59, who was killed on 23 May 2016 at their home in Somerville Park, Rathmines, Dublin 6. Duffy pleaded not guilty.
