Summary

The Special Criminal Court heard CCTV footage of alleged gunmen and vehicles linked to the murder of Gareth Hutch. Prosecutors identified a silver Skoda Octavia, a black BMW, a silver Honda Civic, a black Toyota Avensis and a white Ford transit van as connected to Jonathan Keogh (32) and Thomas Fox (31). They claimed Keogh threatened Hutch the evening before the shooting, Fox and Regina Keogh planned the murder, and Keogh and another man, Mr AB, were the shooters. Footage showed the black BMW leaving Wellington Street and parking in Avondale House carpark, the Honda Civic arriving at Champions Avenue, and the Skoda Octavia arriving from Ballymun. The fatal shooting was captured as Hutch entered his car at 9.56 am. After the shooting, Keogh and AB fled in the BMW, which later burned out at Dubber Cross. The trial continues with the accused pleading not guilty.
