Dublin man charged with IRA membership remanded in custody
Summary
Michael Barr, 34, of Premier Square, Finglas, was charged with membership of the Irish Republican Army (IRA) at a special sitting of the Special Criminal Court on 18 July. His counsel, Ms Siobhán Ní Chúlacháin BL, informed the court that no bail application had been made and consented to a remand in custody for the service of the book of evidence. State Solicitor Ms Irene Daly requested the matter be postponed until 10 October for that service. Judge Paul Butler remanded Barr in custody until that date.
