Summary

In the Central Criminal Court, Paul Bradley (54) and his sons Jason (20), Dean (24) and Ryan (18) are on trial for the murder of Neil Reilly (36) at Esker Glebe, Lucan, on 18 January 2017. The defendants plead not guilty. The prosecution alleges that Reilly fired a shotgun at the Bradley home shortly before 4 a.m., leading to a car chase that ended with Reilly being beaten to death by the Bradleys. On the day after the alleged attack, Garda Sergeant Maeve Ward found a shotgun in the garden of a house on Rowlagh Crescent, close to an unlocked white van containing a balaclava. The weapon was identified in court and shown to the jury. The jury also watched CCTV footage of a white van arriving at Liscarne Gardens at 3.51 a.m., leaving, and a second car following. An emergency call at 3.56 a.m.
