Summary

In the trial of Alan Wilson for the 2008 murder of 18‑year‑old Marioara Rostas, the State's main witness, Fergus O'Hanlon, 37, denied hating Wilson and said he helped dispose of the body because he was "dead if he didn't". O'Hanlon, a convicted criminal, was granted immunity and testified that he arrived home on 8 January 2008 to find Rostas with a hole in her forehead and Wilson holding a gun. He said he had never seen the girl before, felt sick, but followed Wilson's instructions to bury the body in the Dublin Mountains and clean the scene.
