Homeless man sexually assaulted woman asleep on street

Summary

A 34‑year‑old homeless Latvian man, Aigars Grinfelds, was sentenced to five months for sexually assaulting a woman who was sleeping on a Dublin street in December 2017. Grinfelds placed his hand inside the woman's underwear while she lay on the pavement, an act witnessed by a passer‑by who intervened and arrested him.
