At the Central Criminal Court in Dublin, the trial of Rihards Lavickis, a 25-year-old Latvian man from Annaly Court, Longford, heard evidence relating to the death of Akadiusz Czajkowski on November 1st, 2016. Garda evidence indicated Mr Lavickis had complained to officers hours earlier that Mr Czajkowski was "always at me" and that he intended to "sort him out" following a window-breaking incident the previous night. The stabbing resulted in three wounds to the deceased. The trial, before Justice Una Ní Raifeartaigh and jury, continues.
