Cusack, 28, pleaded guilty yesterday to impeding the apprehension or prosecution of his stepfather. Forensic analysis of four phones, including a 'club phone' owned by the Caballeros motorcycle club, revealed a five-minute call from Cusack to McNamara at 2:41 pm on the day of the shooting. Under cross-examination, Ryan acknowledged CCTV placed the shooting at 2:44 pm, meaning the call was likely ongoing. The trial, presided over by Justice Paul McDermott, was adjourned to Thursday.
