Summary
During the fifth week of his 35‑year‑old trial, Vesel Jahiri denied that he told former partner Anna Finnegan he would "get her" on a phone call the day before her death. The jury saw the third and fourth Garda interview videos recorded on 23 September 2023. Jahiri, who has pleaded not guilty to murdering Finnegan and assaulting her brother Karl, represented himself after dismissing his legal team. He denied telling Finnegan he would "get her" if she did not let him see their children by 6 pm on 21 September 2012, and denied threatening her family.
