Teen accused of murdering David Douglas faces trial at non-jury court

Nathan Foley, 18, lives on Rosary Road, Dublin 8. He was charged at Dublin District Court with the murder of David Douglas, 55, who was shot dead on 1 July 2016 at Bridgefoot Street. Foley is also charged with damaging a car on 4 July 2016 at Strand Road, Dublin 4. State solicitor Michael O'Donovan informed the court that the Director of Public Prosecutions was applying for Foley to be tried in the Special Criminal Court. Judge Tony Hunt, with Judges John O'Hagan and Ann Ryan, granted the order.
