Wexford man convicted of orally raping former partner's 7-year-old son

A 33‑year‑old Wexford man was convicted of orally raping the seven‑year‑old son of his former partner. The offence occurred at the man's rented home between 1 March and 30 September 2013. The boy, now 11, was interviewed by specialist Gardaí in March 2014 and described how the man had called him over, pulled down his pants and forced him to suck his "carrot".
