Two Limerick men, Wayne Dundon (35) and Nathan Killeen (23), were arraigned at the Special Criminal Court on 1 May 2014 for the murder of businessman Roy Collins (35) at Coin Castle Amusements on 9 April 2009. They pleaded not guilty. Prosecutor Michael O'Higgins SC presented evidence that Dundon directed the killing from prison, Killeen was the getaway driver, and James Dillon was the gunman. Witnesses included siblings of Collins and cousins of Dundon, who testified about Killeen's attempts to recruit them and the planning of the murder. O'Higgins highlighted circumstantial evidence linking the accused to the crime. The trial, presided over by three female judges, was adjourned until Tuesday for further testimony from Gareth Collins Keogh. The case remains at the arraignment stage.
