Summary

Mark Davis, aged 27, was sentenced to two years' imprisonment for dangerous driving after a high‑speed chase in Tallaght on 27 March 2015. He had 207 prior convictions, including 20 for dangerous driving, 21 for failing to show a licence and five for driving while disqualified. The court heard he drove between 80 and 100 km/h in a 50 km/h zone, repeatedly ran red lights, and nearly collided with a Luas tram, endangering passengers, children and other road users. She imposed a four‑year sentence, suspended the final two years, and ordered one year of probation supervision.
