"Ringleader" jailed for abduction of innocent man
Summary
Morgan Doran, 25, of Rathmines Avenue, Dublin, was sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for the false imprisonment of a man in Rathmines on February 16, 2011. Doran pleaded guilty to the charge. The court heard that Doran and three others abducted the victim, whom they wrongly believed was a sex offender, threatening to cut off his penis and slash his face.
