He pleaded guilty to the house fraud and 12 counts of dishonestly inducing others to give him money. Judge John Aylmer imposed a two‑year term for the house fraud and six months for the other charges, all to run concurrently. Marsh admitted his actions, apologized, and expressed a desire to reform, but no compensation was offered to the victims. The Audi seized by Gardaí was valued at €15,000‑€18,000. No money was recovered.
