Trial date set for husband accused of murdering Valerie French Kilroy

A man from Westport, County Mayo, has been assigned a trial date at the Central Criminal Court in relation to the death of his wife in 2019. The accused is charged with the murder of a woman at their home in June 2019. Mr Justice David Keane set the trial to commence on December 12, 2022, with proceedings expected to span three to four days at the Criminal Courts of Justice in Dublin. The case follows an alleged incident at the couple's residence in the Westport area more than three years prior.
