Convicted sex offender asks judge if there is "any chance of a suspended sentence" for robbery

Outcome: Munir Ghariani (26) asked Judge Melanie Greally. "If I get a suspended sentence I will stay in my house, I will take my medication, I won't leave my house." Dublin Circuit Criminal Court heard Ghariani has 34 previous convictions including one for sexual assault after he groped a woman from behind as she was taking money out of an ATM.; Judge Greally adjourned his latest sentencing hearing to later this month when she will hear evidence from the medical professionals who are treating Ghariani for his complex mental health problems.
