Outcome: In November 2020 Redmond, of Donore Terrace, Brown Street, Dublin 8, was sentenced to 12-and-a-half years imprisonment with four-and-a-half years suspended by Judge Elma Sheahan. At an earlier hearing James Dwyer SC, for Redmond, argued that the overall custodial term was imposed in a manner that "was erroneous" and asked the court to "revisit" the sentence.
