Taxi driver who ran down fare-dodging passenger has driving ban lifted

Outcome: In July 2014 Judge Patricia Ryan suspended a sentence of three years and banned him from driving for four years. Suspending the sentence Judge Ryan noted that the accused had been under great financial and family stress but had €5,000 in court as a token of remorse.
