Man who pleaded guilty to IRA membership misses sentence hearing after ankle break

Outcome: Presiding judge Mr Justice Paul Butler said the court would fix October 31, 2014 for sentence and remanded both men on the same terms.; The men were due to stand trial, but the case was adjourned in the wake of the garda taping revelations after the defence sought confirmation as to whether telephone calls made by their clients with their solicitors prior to interview at garda stations were recorded.
