State appeals fully suspended sentence handed to mentally ill woman who harassed same man for 20 years

Outcome: Convicted; Elaine Tyrrell, of Captain's Road, Crumlin, Dublin, was convicted of harassment and sentenced by Judge Orla Crowe in February of last year to three years fully suspended. In response to a question from Mr Justice John Edwards, Mr Dunne said he did not know whether there had been any further offending since the suspended sentence had been imposed.
