Outcome: At a hearing earlier this month the court heard a probation report prepared on Kennedy had outlined that she was particularly distressed about what would happen to her son if both she and her partner, O'Toole, were jailed. She imposed a nine year sentence on O'Toole but suspended the final four years.

Trio to be sentenced over €2m drugs bust

Outcome: Kennedy, O'Toole and Dowling will all be sentenced on November 25 next. O'Toole received a four year sentence with the final two years suspended in October 2012 after he pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary of his father's home.; Judge Melanie Greally had previously adjourned the case to allow for various reports to be completed on behalf of each of the accused.

Trio to be sentenced for their role in €2m drug bust

Outcome: Graham O'Toole (24), who was the driver of the van, Tara Kennedy (22) the child's mother and Alan Dowling (46), who received the drugs, are all due to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court in November for their various roles in a €2 million drug bust. O'Toole received a four year sentence with the final two years suspended in October 2012 after he pleaded guilty to aggravated burglary of his father's home.; Judge Greally adjourned sentencing to November 14 and remanded all three on continuing bail.
