Outcome: The net effect of the sentences imposed was that after serving a three year sentence, in June 2015, imposed in Naas Circuit Criminal Court, Taylor would begin serving a four year jail term. Mr Justice Peart, who sat with Mr Justice Alan Mahon and Mr Justice John Hedigan, imposed a fresh sentence of eight years imprisonment with the final three suspended backdated to June 2015.
