Prison inmate unable to meet with solicitor as she kept setting off metal detector, High Court hears

Outcome: Ming Liu is serving a four year sentence for a drugs offence, however in High Court proceedings he claims his solicitor Ms Eileen McCabe has been told by the Prison authorities she cannot enter the prison as long as she keeps setting off the metal detector. Feichin McDonagh SC, for Liu, said the visit was arranged to determine if he qualifies for remission of his sentence.
