Notorious criminal Mackin accepts he has 'made poor choices in the past'

Outcome: In March 2016 Mackin was jailed for three years by the Special Criminal Court for a "depraved and barbaric" assault in which a man in his 50s was lured to an address in Limerick where he was "viciously assaulted" and nailed to a kitchen floor with a nail-gun.
