Outcome: McKeon, of Auburn Park, Auburn Avenue, Castleknock, Dublin was given a suspended sentence of 18 months. Passing sentence today, Judge Cormac Quinn said the assault took place in the family home after McKeon and his former wife had drunk three bottles of Heineken each.
