Outcome: Convicted; Kevin Walsh (25) with a last address at Ballycragh, Tallaght, was sentenced to eight years with five years suspended for killing 20-year-old James Burke on date unknown between September 22 and 26, 2005 at a green area close to the Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. He said in all circumstances of the case and because of Walsh's failure to comply with the probationary element of his bond, the court would invoke nine months of the suspended sentence from today and remand Walsh back to the Circuit Court.; Sentencing on that was adjourned and the matter was then returned to the Court of Criminal Appeal.
