Suspended sentence for armed burglary and on bail violent disorder

Outcome: McDonnell's co-accused was given a three-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty. Taking into consideration the other charges on the indictments, and the 18 months already served, Judge Sheahan sentenced McDonnell to 12 months imprisonment for the violent disorder, and two and a half years imprisonment for the burglary.
