Outcome: He was sentenced to six-and-a-half-years in prison by Judge Martin Nolan on March 11, 2024 at the Central Criminal Court. Mr Justice Edwards said the fact that lawyers for Kelly at the sentencing hearing had not asked for a portion of the sentence to be suspended "suggests it was appreciated there was no evidential basis for a partial suspension".
