Perjury proceedings should be considered by DPP after McGregor withdraws 'new evidence' bid, lawyers tell appeal

Outcome: Mr Gordon said the matter was open for consideration for referral to the DPP for "perjury" proceedings; and for "subornation" [inducement] of perjury proceedings against Mr McGregor. "They waltz in here and they think they can walk away from this in a sentence," said Mr Gordon, who said he had intended to cross-examine the proposed new witnesses.
