'Not a master drug dealer': jail for man who went out in untaxed van with €1.7m in cocaine
An electrician, Karl Lawlor, 40, was jailed for five and a half years after Gardaí stopped his untaxed van in Clondalkin. The van contained just under 25 kilos of cocaine worth €1.74 million and €220 worth of cannabis. Lawlor pleaded guilty to possession on 15 April 2022.
