Man wearing wearing makeup and carrying "designer handbag" asked teens for directions, murder trial hears
In a murder trial at the Central Criminal Court, Christopher McDonald (34) pleaded not guilty to the 2015 shooting of 36‑year‑old Keith Walker at the Blanchardstown Pigeon Racing Club. The State alleges that a man dressed in women's clothing, wearing makeup and a designer handbag, approached two teenage boys on the evening of 12 June 2015 and asked for directions to the club. The teens, who were unaware of the club's location, described the man as late 30s or 40s, about five feet ten inches tall, with a cut above his right eye and a pink‑striped outfit. Witnesses also reported the man's presence in the area roughly 90 minutes before the shooting. The trial, presided over by Justice Patrick McCarthy, continues with a jury of twelve.
